Drake & Seymour Dentistry is hosting their first-ever Santa’s Workshop on December 14 from 11am-1pm. This promises to be an enjoyable event with tons of free things to do for the kiddos, including photos with Santa, letters to Santa, crafts, marshmallow roasting, and a bounce house! 2. Back to Bethlehem: Drive-Through Living Nativity
On December 14, load up your Honda CR-V with the whole family and come out to experience a drive-through, living re-enactment of the traditional nativity scene! This unique event portrays a series of live scenes from the story of the birth of Jesus. It will be on from 6-8:30pm at Delrayno Baptist Church and best of all, it’s entirely free!
3. Carlee Farm Holiday Marketplace
Carlee Farm is hosting its annual holiday marketplace on December 14 from 11am-3pm. This four-hour event has free admission and features over 25 local vendors selling handmade crafts, jewelry, baked goods, and a whole lot more. This is an excellent opportunity to get some early holiday shopping in, and you might even see Santa and the Grinch too!
4. Retro Saturday and Ugly Sweater Party
Tobacco Wood Brewing Co is hosting a holiday-themed edition of their Retro Saturday event on December 21. This is a full-day affair for the whole family, starting with a vendor market and Santa photo-taking from 11am-2pm, followed by an ugly sweater party and family karaoke night from 6-8pm. Pull out your most hideous holiday sweater and bring the family along to what promises to be a day full of lively festivities.
5. Granville Xmas Farm
You’ve seen the award-winning ‘Haunt Farm’ at Halloween. Now get ready to explore a light-filled holiday wonderland as the farm goes from ‘scary’ to ‘merry.’ This drive-through experience features thousands of lights and dozens of classic holiday movie scenes. Santa himself will be there to greet you and takes photos. This event runs every day from 5:30-9pm (occasionally 10pm depending on the day) up until December 31. Prices vary depending on the number of passengers in your vehicle, so get your tickets now!
