EX-L
The base EX-L comes with a 3.5L V6 engine that makes 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. It can tow up to 5,000 pounds and features Snow, Sand, and Mud drive modes to increase capability in rugged terrain. Advanced safety features include forward collision warning, collision mitigation breaking, blind spot monitoring, hill start assist, and a cross-traffic monitor. You’ll also get parking sensors and a rearview camera with dynamic guidelines.
The five-passenger cabin is spacious and cozy, with premium niceties like leather seats, tri-zone automatic climate control, heated power-adjustable front seats, and a power moonroof. It’s equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a seven-speaker stereo, multiple USB ports, and a wireless charger. The EX-L also includes useful features like an auto-dimming rearview mirror that reduces glare at night, power-folding rear seatbacks, and a power tailgate.
TrailSport
If you’d like a more rugged Passport with better performance off the road, the TrailSport trim is the way to go. It upgrades to an off-road-tuned suspension that absorbs bumps easily and keeps the ride smoother on rough trails. It also replaces the standard 20-inch wheels with 18-inch alloys and all-terrain tires to give you better grip and stability. You’ll get LED fog lights, roof rails, and heated power-adjustable side mirrors with blinkers and memory settings.

Inside, you’ll find exclusive perforated leather seats with orange stitching and ambient lighting for a cozier vibe. The front seats and floor mats come with the TrailSport logo as well. Rear passengers are treated to extra comfort with the integrated window sunshades. This model also adds an in-dash satellite-linked navigation system that lets you set the destination with your voice.
Black Edition
Moving up, the top-spec Black Edition trim boasts blacked-out styling all around. It comes with 20-inch gloss black wheels, auto-dimming side mirrors, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and courtesy lights in the front doors. A hands-free power tailgate comes standard to make loading the trunk easier.
Inside, this model features perforated leather seats with red stitching and Black Edition logos on the front seats and floor mats. Comfort gets an upgrade with heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, heated rear outboard seats, and rear climate controls. You’ll also get an in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot and an upgraded audio system with ten speakers.
